This week we’ve been playing around with some Smart Eggs and not only do they look cool, they’re actually a lot of fun to play with. The basic versions are 1 Layer and they come in a variety of levels for different ages. Though the box below shows two eggs, its just the way I stored it. You get one per box and they retail around £6.
The general idea of the egg is a labyrinth puzzle. You start with the stick going in at one place and run it around the maze and out the other end. The two eggs we have are level 4 and level 8 and they are called “Hive” and “Lava”. These particular puzzles are aimed at children and are fairly simple to complete in few moves (between 13-15) and not many minutes. However the higher the level, the more complicated and the longer it should take to solve. The puzzles are really geared towards children who like things like the Rubik’s Cube.
At a good price, these eggs would make good stocking fillers for both adults and kids alike.
