This week my family and I visited another Hidden Gem. Chris had been before and it had popped up on my Facebook, so I figured we should all give it a try! Blyton Dairy Ice Cream Parlour is funnily enough, in Blyton. Believe it or not, its about 5-10 minutes from Gainsborough and I never even knew it existed.
Blyton Dairy Ice Cream Parlour boasts over 65 flavours, not just in ice cream (I think that’s over 50 flavours) but also in sugar-free and sorbets. You can either walk around the front of the building, getting your cones from the window, or you can head inside and sit down – ordering not only ice cream, but teas and coffee, sandwiches etc. Out the back is plenty of parking, a play slide for the kids, a mini-golf course and plenty of room to sit. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining, it really couldn’t have been any better.
We tried 4 different flavours and made a pact to try different ones every time we go. This time I had Mint Choc Chip, Chris had Coffee Choc Chip, Megan had Chocolate Orange and Lily had Candyfloss. They were all great!
If you want to check out Blyton Dairy Ice Cream Parlour yourself, they have a website. If you’re anywhere near by, you should definitely pop in and give them a try!
