This week’s 52 Project is from Sunday and a Christmas Market we attended. The girls were absolute stars, helping me out for 5 hours. I took this picture after we initially set up and since we’re moving towards Christmas I thought it would be a great picture to share this week!
This week we made Christmas Pudding at mum’s. It’s long been a tradition in our family (family being even myself, my brother, my sister and my parents), to stir the Christmas Pudding and make a wish. For as long as I can remember, this tradition has passed on even to my kids too. My mum makes the pudding with a recipe she has had for years. She then adds the final ingredient – Guinness – and then everyone takes it in turns to stir and make a wish. It seems to have naturally fallen that we do it in age order and this year was no different. We went to mum’s for lunch on Saturday and each took a turn to stir the pudding and make a wish. Sadly my wish was wasted as I wished to win the lottery – then forgot to play! I still got to drink the rest of the Guinness though so all was not lost!!
