I have been dying to share my latest make up purchase with you! However because I knew it would take some time to photograph it all, its taken me a little while. Here, today, I’m going to share with you my latest purchases – Peripera’s Frozen make up!
Now I didn’t buy everything that was available, but I did buy the majority of it. In fact, the only bits I skipped out on were the powders – foundation and glitter I think?
Anyway, when it arrived I was really excited. I’m such a Disney fan that really anything with a decent Disney design to it, is something I want to own.
In the picture above, to the top right, you can see all of my purchases. There are two lip glosses, two eyeshadow palettes, a set of eyeliners and three nail polishes. In the bottom left hand corner you can see the eyeliner set a little closer – it even comes with a pencil sharpener. In the bottom left is the lip glosses – Anna which is a coral colour and Elsa who is more pink. Finally, glance up to the top left and you’ll see how all the colours come ouut. The eyeliners are amazing – a black, brown, purple, maroon and cream sparkle. They are long wearing too as I have washed my hand three times and they still won’t come off! In the same picture, you can also see the colours of the lip glosses, that perhaps are more like lip stain too?
This picture shows the two eyeshadow palettes – again, Anna and Elsa. Anna’s colours are cream, orange and brown, while Elsa’s are light pink, pink and purple. I completely understand why Anna’s is called Tap Tap but can anyone explain the 3 eyes for Elsa? Am I just being dumb? Anyway… the picture also shows the colours on my skin. Both the cream and the light pink are very faint, though the others are really nice and all have a little sparkle to them. Unlike the eyeliners, these brushed straight off my arm when I used my t-shirt. There was a bit of a sparkle left but the colour came off a little too easy.
Finally is the nail polishes. The below part of the picture is three coats of each polish. As you can see, its very pale. The blue does have some element of colour to it, but mostly its small glitter and sparkles, presumably to represent Elsa. The white is basically a clear (so could be used as a top coat too) and has small sparkles, both silver and white in it. There are also white circles though only one came out, even after three coats. Finally, the purple is a good thick coat which once dry, gives a sort of rough matt finish.
For me, the actual make up itself is a little disappointing, especially the eyeshadow and nail polish. However, its Disney and in all honesty, having tidied my dressing table and drawers last week, I’ll probably just leave this make up out, more as a decoration than a use. I’m not unhappy with the make up but it really isn’t a good quality for adults and is perhaps better geared towards children. I’m sure my girls will be thrilled when they find Father Christmas buys them some for their stockings.
