First I want to say, that I really really hate writing these things! My name is Bel and I’m a forty-something mum of two beautiful girls. I’m a self-confessed geek and I love all things Disney and Harry Potter especially. My hobbies include; reading books, watching movies and hanging out with my kids. Since going self employed about four years ago, I have to admit that I haven’t found a whole lot of time for me. I used to bake cakes, throw murder mystery parties and all sorts of things. However now I’m lucky if we even squeeze in a games night or two during the month.
My family is made up of my two daughters; Megan who is currently 17 and Lily who is 14. We live together in a village outside of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. As I mentioned before, I’m self employed and run a business called Closet Geek. It’s incredibly time consuming and so any free time I make, is usually spent with the kids, or working on my Harry Potter themed roleplay site – Deckleswood. Because of that I don’t find a lot of time for my blog but entering into 2022 I aim to try and find a little more time and get a bit more of me into these posts.
