A new year and a fresh start to 2016! This is 1/52, the first of my 52 Project photos and it was taken on New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day at midnight. This is the one blog project that I always enjoy sticking to, because its lovely to see just how much the girls change from year to year!
1/52 – I can’t believe a whole year of 52 Project has been and gone. I really wanted to have moved to self-hosted before this year’s worth of pictures started, however it might well be a few more days before I get time to get moved. As such, I’m starting off this year’s 52 Project with this picture taken a couple of days ago. Megan and Lily were both dressing up for one of their Disney tasks this week. Megan only has 2 outfits that fit and Lily is making her way through all of hers!
I watched Kate from Just Pirouette and Carry On, do the 52 Project last year and it really made me want to do it too. I don’t like starting things in the middle either, so I’ve waited right up until now to start. So this is my 1/52 post.
Megan: She’s so proud of the outfit she’s wearing. Picked and bought herself from Next and worn for the first time today. Any hint of a picture and she’s right there posing.
Lily: Total opposite of Megan, a nice casual “action” picture. Even her style completely contrasts with that of her sister, fashioning jeans and an “I love Santa” t-shirt which she also picked herself from Next.
If you’d like to join in with the 52 Project, its really simple to do. Jodi from Practising Simplicity is the person who organised and thought it up. At her blog you can also link your pictures in with everyone else. A simple concept – a photograph of my children, every week for 2014. A fun idea and also a great way to create memories.
