Completely forgot about a picture this week so a bit of a cheat! The girls took a picture together on a Polaroid and since it was all I had from this week, I took a picture of that picture! This is pinned to our fridge.

This week’s picture was taken at one of many open evenings that we attended for planning Megan’s secondary school next year. All the previous ones had been just Megan and I but this one we had to take Lily along with us. Not surprisingly, Lily has already decided that this particular one is the one she wants to go to!

Today’s 52 Project photo is actually taken today. We attended a small sort of a comic con in Lincoln called “Geeks” and both girls dressed up. Lily had wanted for a long time to be Harley Quinn, so I made her a dress for the occasion. Megan wasn’t really sure what to go as but since she had the Belle dress from when we went to Florida, and the apron, she decided to go as Belle. Neither were really cosplaying, more just inspired, but it was lovely to see them enjoying dressing up!

So many beautiful pictures to choose from this week as the girls had a mini photoshoot on Friday. It’s been such a lovely week and lovely summer holidays really. I’m so sad that it’s coming to an end! This picture is Lily, Megan and Amy’s daughter Olivia, when we went to visit them in Berwick this weekend. The girls are all wearing dresses that I made and are now in stock at my new online store – Closet Geek!

This week I’ve had a handful of pics to choose from but I love this one taken on Sunday. We spent the morning looking for a car for Chris and since we had to take the girls with us, they needed to behave themselves. They were absolutely stars and so we treated them to lunch at McDonalds (Chris needed to use the wifi too!). We’re having a lovely summer. I hope you are too!

This week it was really tricky to pick some pictures to use. At first I didn’t think I had any at all and then I realised I had loads, all made up of great moments that happened this week. However in the end I went for these two pictures.
The top one is Megan with her toy dog Cranberry. She had him from birth and was packed away in some of our boxes in storage. I added a picture of her as a baby, with Cranberry too. We had a lovely time reminiscing!
The next picture (third) is Lily going through the boxes from storage, looking at photos of herself when she was younger. I liked this picture because it shows her now and then, but will also act as a “then” for me some point in the future. Lily also found a dog packed in storage and that had a funny story behind it too.
