Our Summer Holidays so far!

August 4, 2017 by Bel

The kids have now been off for two full weeks (and a couple of days) so I thought I would update with what we’ve been up to so far – especially since I’m not keeping up with my monthly updates at the moment.

The school holidays couldn’t really have been off to a worse start, than a weather forecast like this ^^ However, I am grateful to work from home and so no matter what the weather, at least I get to spend time with the kids! As they broke up on the Wednesday, we had a couple of extra days that week, to fit in some fun. Thursday was one of my favourite days actually as we went to see Despicable Me 3 (which was average in my opinion), then went to Chimichanga for dinner (which we had never been to before) and finally we went to our local park – Hartsholme – for a lovely walk around the lake.

On the Friday, the girls made a video of themselves doing the Beanboozled challenge and I really must remember to upload it, plus we seemed to watch a ton of movies over the first few days including; Definitely Maybe, 10 Things I Hate About You, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Phantom of the Opera and Save the Last Dance. We also got an invite to my mum’s on Sunday for a roast dinner and that was amazing.

The following week was the first full week and for the first four days we had visitors in the form of Amy and Liv. The girls were at their dad’s on the Monday so Amy and I just spent time catching up, then in the evening Chris, Amy and I had chinese takeaway and watched Game of Thrones. The other days were mostly spent sewing, though Amy and I did manage to go fabric shopping too.

The weather was fairly rubbish all week, starting off raining and ending up sunny or vice versa. After dropping Amy and Liv at the station though, the girls and I took a trip to Norton Disney (a place we had joked about visiting for a while) and luckily the sun stayed out for some pics.

That weekend, we went to LFCC (which is London Film and Comic Con). I had been once before and really enjoyed it, but this time was a flying visit really – all so I could meet Wil Wheaton. Chris was working until 4.30pm Saturday so we headed off down to London after that and stayed at a Travelodge near Heathrow. In the morning we drove to North Ealing station, parked there and caught the train to Earl’s Court and then walked to London Olympia. Grabbing a virtual ticket for Wil Wheaton’s queue was first priority but after that we did some shopping and wandered around stalls. We ate lunch and shopped some more until finally we could meet Wil Wheaton. I had taken a blank Flux card with me for signing and had decided a CREEPER would be best. These are cards that if laid in front of you in the game, means you can’t win. Since Wil is pretty notorious for not winning on his YouTube show “Tabletop”, I thought this would be perfect. He seemed to agree and wrote “IT SUCKS TO BE YOU” and then signed it. Sadly as he was passing it back, he smudged the card but I didn’t mind as I still knew what it was. He said “Now it really sucks to be you!” which made us all laugh.

As I’m writing this post, I realise this all happened almost a week ago (it was Sunday and today is Friday) but it honestly only feels like yesterday! Anyway the next day the girls were with their dad and went to a National Park and built a den. They have a video of that too which I hope to upload soon. The rest of this week has really just been spent at home. I had a lot of work to catch up on after Amy’s visit and so the girls have really just entertained themselves on Minecraft, Slime Rancher, Theme Hospital etc. Yesterday though they started a jigsaw with my mum and once my work was done I joined in too. Then mum left and I couldn’t bear to leave the jigsaw unfinished so we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening making sure it got done!

That pretty much sums up the last two weeks and I’m so glad its been a combination of lots and nothing. I always think its important to have plenty of down days during the holidays so you don’t feel completely knackered, but you also need days were you do things together, or else you end the holidays feeling like you didn’t do anything! Hopefully I’ll update again soon with whatever else we get up to!

Wednesday Wishlist – Disney Style Books

May 18, 2016 by Bel

I have to admit that I’m super excited about this week’s wishlist, because I’ve been working on it for absolutely ages! I don’t read half as much as I’d like to as I’m always busy sewing or blogging, but if I did, I would read ALL these books I have listed and many more. This week I wanted to show off some of the many Disney/Fairytale style books that I’ve come across over the last few months. Some I’d never heard of before and others being sequels to books I already own or have read.

Disney style books
Disney style books

Disney is one of my favourite topics ever but I love a good spin on it too. Nearly all of these books follow that idea and so hopefully if you’re the same, you’ll like the sound of a lot of these books.

Starting off with Poor Unfortunate Souls, this book has been on my wishlist for a while now. When we visited Florida last year I discovered Fairest of All and The Beast Within, both of which I regretted not buying. However for my birthday the following month, I was lucky enough to get bought both. This third book is about Ursula and honestly she is pretty much my Villain spirit animal. It’s not released yet but I would love to own this book and add it to my collection.

As Old as Time is a similar story, it’s pre-order and not released yet. However I’ve had my eye on Once Upon a Dream and A Whole New World (Chris just bought me this a few days ago) in hardback for a while (they just got released in paperback) and now spotted this Beauty and the Beast Twisted Tale coming out soon. I have yet to read any, but I plan to start AWNW this week!

The next couple of books, Unhooked and Never Never, are both Peter Pan/Hook themed books. They both appeal to me to read, though I’ve heard nothing about them other than reading the information on Amazon. There is one on the next line down called Wendy Darling (and its a Part 1 I believe) and this is the same sort of thing. They all just sound like good books. Finally on this line is a book called Fairest and its part of The Lunar Chronicles series. I currently own Cinder which is by the same author and while I haven’t read it yet, I’m told it’s really good.

On the middle line is a book called Once Again, its by the same as the Twisted Tales but I think it’s co-written. From what I can gather its two stories in one, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Since I mentioned Wendy Darling above, I’ll skip on to Kingdom Keepers. This is a series that I only recently discovered and have to admit I’m thoroughly enjoying. The first book, Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark, I actually bought for Megan for her birthday, but Lily and I ended up reading as a bedtime story. Once we’d finished, I moved onto Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dawn. Since we only read one chapter a night, it does take quite some time to work our way through, however Lily was lucky enough to get bought the next 3-4 books for her birthday so we should have enough to keep us going for a while. This particular book I listed is a sort of spin-off series I believe, called Kingdom Keepers: The Return. Obviously we will be finishing our current series, before heading off into that one though.

Finally on the middle line is another book which I believe is co-written, by Riley Pearson (the author of The Kingdom Keepers) and Dave Barry. There are several books in this series too and again I haven’t read any of them, but given that they are by the author of The Kingdom Keepers, I would definitely give it a try.

Finally on the bottom row is a couple of cheeky additions. Return to the Isle of the Lost is a sequel book to The Isle of the Lost: A Descendants Novel. All I really know of the Descendants is the Disney movie that was on TV last year, which I watched with the kids, but I did buy this book for Lily and we haven’t got around to reading it yet. Given that the first book is good, then we’d probably want the sequel too! My next cheeky addition is actually Once Upon a Time (OUAT) related and though there were several to choose from, this one is my top pick. OUAT isn’t technically Disney but it’s pretty damn close so any book connected to the series is something I want to read.

Finally that leaves three books which I only found today as I was searching for last minute additions. I honestly know nothing about the three picks but the blurbs appealed so I threw them on. Disneylanders and The Disneyland Quest, remind me somewhat of the Kingdom Keepers style book. The last one, is Fairy Godmother themed and is part of a series, some of which Megan owns but hasn’t read yet (The Snow Queen and The Sleeping Beauty). The series is called Five Hundred Kingdoms and from what I can gather, all the books can be read independently.

So these are some of my treasure finds but I’d love to know if you have any other suggestions!

Disney Bounding

May 10, 2016 by Bel

I love to sew and make cosplay costumes or even inspired outfits, but I have to admit I have never actually gone Disney Bounding. When we went to Disneyland Paris the first time, it was very much an impulse visit (we were 10 hours away, further south in France) and when we went again a few years later, it was far too cold to think about dressing up (it snowed!). The same was true when we visited the Christmas just gone but now in May we are going again and then myself and my two best friends are going in June too. I love the idea of Disney Bounding and it doesn’t take anywhere near as much effort as cosplay. Here are some ideas I’ve been toying with.

Pic Credit: Vivien of Holloway

Minnie Mouse is very iconic of Disney, as is her dress. As such, a Minnie Disney Bound is a pretty obvious choice. With all sorts of variety when it comes to red spotty dresses, it won’t be hard to find one in a style you like. Pair it with some yellow shoes and maybe even some Minnie Mouse ears on a headband and you’re all set to go!

Pic Credit: Jones and Jones
Make it Pink! Make it Blue! No matter which version of Aurora’s dress you like, its fairly easy to find something in either pink or blue. This dress screams Aurora to me, because of its shoulder straps, but its short length makes it much more re-usable. Couple this with a little crown or tiara and you’re totally a Princess!

Pic Credit: Chi Chi London

This beautiful shade of blue dress says Cinderella to me and if you couple it with the right shoes and maybe even a plush mouse or too, you’re definitely on your way to bounding Cinders. Maybe a glass slipper necklace or some pumpkin earrings if you’re into the finer touches, but really you can’t go wrong.

For me, I much prefer the idea of being a Disney Villain to be honest. Luckily it’s fairly easy to shop for sexy black dress for Maleficent or the Evil Queen. That’s what I did when I was dressing up as Morticia Adams. In fact a lot of the Disney Villains are simple plain dresses, that can be made to look more bounding with a few accessories.

Whether you prefer to wear dresses or if you’d rather throw some top and trouser combinations in there too, Disney Bounding is really such a simple idea. When Amy, Nat and I visit in June we’re hoping to bound so stay tuned for whatever we pick to wear!

The Disney Princess Tag

April 12, 2016 by Bel

tag
Everyone loves a tag every now and again and sometimes I’m too busy when I get tagged or other times I’m just not that interested in the tag itself! However Amy over at Cocktails in Teacups tagged me in “The Disney Princess Tag” and I definitely couldn’t resist. If you would like to read her answers, you can see them here – but here are mine! (remember it’s just Disney Princess movies, nothing else).

1. Which Princess do you like the least?

I don’t really dislike any of the princesses, but I guess Snow White, Aurora and Tiana would be my least favourite. Snow White because her voice is so high pitched and annoying in the movie. Aurora because she’s sort of nothingy and Tiana just because I’m not really a big fan of the movie as a whole.

2. Which Princess do you adore the most?

Belle is and always has been my favourite princess. We share a name for a start (though hers is spelt nicer than mine), we both have brown hair and brown eyes, plus she has one of the coolest stories. I also love Ariel and Rapunzel though.

11931089_162280250774614_1053197386_n

3. Which Princess do you relate to the most?

I think it’s pretty hard to relate to a princess when you’re not one, so those who start off as princesses like Ariel, Jasmine, Merida and to some extent Aurora. While they might have it tough or even lonely, they are still princesses at the end of the day. There are parts of everyone’s stories that I guess I can identify with but probably Belle the most.

4. Which sidekick do you wish you had?

Possibly because Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favourite anyway, but I would love both Cogsworth and Lumiere as sidekicks. They’re so incredibly loveable, even in their strange ways. I would also the genie – both for his sense of humour and of course his magic. (If Mulan was a princess, I’d say Mushu to).

12231087_1640563372893122_1341135159_n
5. Which best friend(s) would you like to hang out with?

To me this question is sort of like the sidekicks one, as in most cases the characters have animals or unusual characters as their best friends. If we’re talking people then definitely Lottie from The Princess and the Frog. However again, Genie (he’s Aladdin’s BFF for sure) and if Hercules was allowed (which sadly it isn’t), Pegasus would be up there too.

6. Which Prince would love you?

I don’t know about which would love me, but I hope “Beast”, as it all fits with my love of Beauty and the Beast. However I adore Flynn and Prince Eric, so I would happily have either of them too.

7. Which parents would raise you?

This is a toughie as you don’t see a lot of parent action in some of the movies, or if you do then it’s often one parent. I think perhaps my dad is most like King Tritton. He was always pretty strict but under it all he had such a big heart. He also had some qualities of Zeus (again not allowed) but he was loud and larger than life. My mum is probably most like Queen Elinor from Brave. She also reminds me somewhat of Rapunzel’s mum and (if it was allowed) Mrs Darling.

castle
8. Which castle do you want to live in?

I would happily live in any castle – I’m not fussy! No surprise though that I love the Beast’s castle – both before and after the transformation. Rapunzel’s castle would also be great, especially on the nights with lanterns.

9. Which dress do you wish to own?

Rapunzel’s wedding mother of the bride dresses would be my all time favourite pick, but I love her other pink/purple dresses too. After that it would have to be Belle’s green dress. Cinderella’s blue dress from the action movie would be awesome as well, so would her wedding dress though. Honestly though, I’d rather be a villain than a princess.

cinderella
10. Which voice do you wish you had?

To sound like, or to sing? To be honest this is something I have never really thought about. I guess Belle or maybe Rapunzel? Just to sing and have animals clean would be good though right?

11. Which two Princesses would be best friends?

I always think of Ariel and Belle being friends, perhaps because I identify with Belle and consider Amy to be Ariel. However I also thing their desire for more in their lives, is also something that would bond them. I also think Rapunzel would easily fit into their friendship group.

friends
12. Which two Princesses do you think would hate one another?

I don’t think Disney Princesses hate, isn’t that sort of their main quality? However I imagine Snow White’s voice would grate on everyone (and if it were allowed – Mulan is a bit tom boyish, so may struggle to fit in).

13. Which two sidekicks would make a good duo?

Pascal and Abu for sure. They don’t speak but they would just give each other those looks. Mushu (if allowed) and the Genie would make a great duo too.

14. Which two Princes would be best buds?

I think Flynn and Eric are pretty similar. They’re both light-hearted, energetic, (handsome) guys. I always imagine the original princes (Prince Charming, Prince Phillip and Snow White’s “Prince”) would be good friends.

tangled
15. Which scene makes you cry?

Without a shadow of a doubt, when the Beast “dies” in Beauty and the Beast, I always cry – it doesn’t matter how many times I see it, or even if its Disney on Ice, or Disney Live at WDW. Also the lantern scene and Flynn “dying” in Tangled. To be honest, there is pretty much something in every movie that makes me cry or at least get a lump in my throat.

16. What scene makes you cheer?

I love when Kristoff realises he loves Anna and heads back to the castle to save her. I also love when the Beast transforms and Belle says “it is you” as she looks into his eyes. When Mother Gothel falls out of the window (that’s a bit morbid.. oops).

17. Which movie is your favourite soundtrack?

This is UNFAIR as my favourite is Hercules and it’s not allowed *poutyface*. However playing by the rules, I love Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. I also love loads of the songs from Pocahontas which is a surprise really as it’s fairly low on my list of favourite movies.

18. Which scene makes you cringe the most?

I honestly can’t think of anything really, because Disney isn’t designed to make you cringe! I’m pretty sick of Frozen these days though so simply the mention of it can make me cringe, especially Let it Go.

11850063_792485394182023_1150094442_n
19. Which story do you wish was your life?

I think I would be happy to have any princess story really, because who wouldn’t love to experience the life at least once. However again, no surprise, but I would pick Belle’s. I’d also happily take Rapunzel’s, Ariel’s or maybe surprisingly again, Cinderella’s.

20. Which movie do you love the most?

I think all my answers have made this choice really obvious but Beauty and the Beast is by far my all time favourite, second place is tied between The Little Mermaid and Tangled.

I don’t tag anyone to take this tag, but if you want to then please feel free and by all means leave your links in my comments as I’d love to read your answers!

Week 39 – Monday Round-up

September 28, 2015 by Bel

I know I always say this but I really have to make this a quick one this week. I have like 100 sewing projects going on, 10 or so of which are actually orders. Monday to Friday were school for the girls and work for Chris. I barely updated my instagram all week so I can’t even remember for the most part what we got up to!

Nat came around on Wednesday for the day time, I do remember that. And Thursday I spent the afternoon with Megan and Lily, at their Harvest Festival, then going to mum’s for dinner and finally to an open evening at one of Megan’s options for secondary school next year. The rest of the week is just a blur of sewing, blogging and trying to keep it together! It’s been more than a busy week this week, more like a chaotic one.

I got some new items listed in my shop this week, Amy’s Wendy dress got its outing at MNSSHP and I finished the Back to the Future prom dress that I’ve been working on. However like I said I have to make this short as I’m knee deep in a Cinderella dress and loads of other projects too!

Closet Geek Update

September 23, 2015 by Bel

Obviously as you probably know, I now own a small business called Closet Geek, where I make handmade jewellery, pencil cases, hair bows and clothes. I also take custom orders – which recently has led to a prom dress and a Cinderella cosplay. Because of this it means I struggle to find time to blog sometimes, but I thought I would write a quick post about what’s going on over at the store!

businesscard

First thing to note is that my website itself (www.ClosetGeek.co.uk) isn’t having that many orders! I guess if I’d thought about it more in advance, I probably would have known this – but basically it feels like I opened up a little shop on a tiny off-the-beaten-track lane and the only customers I get are few and far between. However on a positive note, my Etsy store (which basically duplicates most of my store listings), has been really busy and it’s been so much fun sewing and making bows for orders. This last week I’ve had two “Little Miss Disgust” dresses to make (one even with a neck scarf), three hair bows and four necklaces. I even have an adult Little Miss Disgust dress on order.

I’ve pretty much completed the Back to the Future Prom Dress, which will hopefully be mailed off towards the end of this week. I’ve also properly started on the Cinderella dress (after a nightmare with fabrics). I’m hoping to make a batch of Villains hair bows, which will be a sort of “Halloween” launch, but permanently in the store once they’re launched. I’d also love to do a Superhero batch but I have no set period of time for that. Probably not quite in time for Halloween unfortunately, but in the not too distant future, I’d love to do a Disney Villains inspired batch of girls dresses too – which my girls are keen to model!

On top of all that, I’ve actually started working on ideas for Christmas. I’d love to make some geeky stockings and I’m currently in the process of working with some fellow bloggers on getting some designs made and reviewed. On the topic of reviews, I was also featured on Fashion Quirks YouTube channel this week. Carley, the girl who vlogs, featured my Golden Snitch necklace, a Cinderella carriage necklace (end of line), an Alice in Wonderland bow and also a Minnie and Mickey pencil case. The video is here if anyone would like a watch!

As well as all that, I have an order for several bows and scrunchies that I’m currently working on, I recently made a Harley Quinn dress for Lily which I hope to put in the store soon and also I have a Snow White rags, Woody, Minnie Mouse and Briar Rose dress to add to the store too. It’s all busy busy busy but I absolutely love it. I only wish I had clones of myself so I could make clothes, watch TV AND blog, all at the same time.

Week 38 – Monday Round-up

September 21, 2015 by Bel

This Monday Round-up is definitely starting to become the bane of my life! I was unsure about doing it again at the beginning of this year and now 38 weeks in and I’m almost certain I won’t be doing it again next year! Anyway… another busy week (duh!). Monday to Friday and the kids were at school, though Lily was off sick on Wednesday. Chris was off Tuesday and Wednesday, but otherwise he was working every day and also Saturday at the weekend.

I honestly don’t remember much of the week, as its now a bit of a blur. Monday I think was probably a day spent catching up on blogging and the internet – as it often is. Tuesday I didn’t have to take the kids to school as they were at their dads, so it was lazy to begin with, then a shower and changed for a Secondary School open evening that night. Chris and I went to pick the girls up from school, headed home for dinner and then Megan and I went out to the first of her open evenings, leaving Lily and Chris at home to watch Avatar.

We were back around 9pm and so Megan and Lily headed straight to bed. We enjoyed the open evening though and LCHS is Megan’s first choice for next year. Wednesday as I mentioned, Lily was off. Nat also came around for the day and Chris was off work so we were a full house! Nat and I however headed out to Scunthorpe for fabric and then obviously later that afternoon I went out to get Megan from school. That evening was spent making a start on a custom Cinderella dress and then researching and ordering a few bits and pieces.

Thursday everyone was gone again – Chris back to work and the girls both at school. I spent the day working on a variety of sewing projects, popping into town and really just getting on top of things. I picked the girls up from school and then headed to mums where we would have dinner before heading out to another open evening. This time mum and Lily came too but not till towards the end and it was only really to meet us and make getting home a little faster. The girls went to bed not long after we got back and I started on Lily’s Harley Quinn dress. I spent pretty much all day Friday working on Lily’s dress and by the end of the day (with picking them up from school and dinner etc.) the dress was done. Lily had a friend to stay overnight Friday as well, which made things a little stressful but I still got plenty done.

I then spent Saturday morning making some bows for Lily and tidying up Megan’s Belle dress. Lily’s friend went home midday and at that point I was back to working on my other projects, putting a zip in a different dress, working on new ideas etc.

Sunday was Geeks in Lincoln, a sort of mini-comic con. The girls got dressed up but Chris and I just wore geeky t-shirts. Left the house not long after 10am and met up with Nat and her son Josh around 11am. The convention was really busy but it was small so only took an hour or so to look around. The girls enjoyed themselves and I have to admit I did too – despite it being small. We also bumped into Rhiannon who I haven’t seen in ages! We headed to KFC for lunch and then to my mums. After that we all headed home and just chilled out for the rest of the day – making time for homework and baths too though.

Another busy week coming this week but what’s new! Hope everyone is okay and having a good week too.

What I’ve been up to!

September 4, 2015 by Bel

It’s been a quiet week on my blog and that’s basically because I’ve been busy! The girls were back at school this week which took up a lot of my attention, but I’ve also been working hard on my new site, Closet Geek. I’ve been making and sewing, sourcing and thinking, browsing the web and just constantly thinking!!

Closet Geek labelIf you missed the memo, my new site is sort of One-Stop-Shop (or it will be, eventually), for geeky apparel. Right now it stocks jewellery, hair bows and pencil cases, along with Disney inspired dresses for children. In the near future I want to add adult clothes, but at the moment I just do them on a custom order basis. If you want to keep up with what I’m going, Instagram seems to be my main platform as its great for visuals.

So this week I’ve been finishing off a Wendy cosplay that I’ve been working on for a while. It’s almost finished but not quite so I won’t share it here yet. However I have completed a new Woody inspired dress for girls and started working on some other projects.

Woody Inspired Dress

I have two custom orders in process at the moment, the first one of which I’ve ordered fabric and have a pattern for, the second being quite a big project! The first one is the Prom Dress from Back to the Future. Know which one? Marty’s mum, Lorraine wears it.

Back to the Future, Prom Dress

The second is a Cinderella cosplay which I’m still looking at fabrics for at the moment. I’m pretty excited, but also a little terrified too! As well as that, I’m making a Briar Rose inspired dress and hopefully a Snow White rags inspired dress, fingers crossed they’ll be done over the weekend. I have loads more planned but I really need to get on with my custom orders.

Finally on top of all that, I spent almost one whole day making hair bows. I had some in my store but I’ll be adding more, again you can see those on my instagram. My favourite by far is Eeyore though. It was quite fiddly but such a good outcome.

Eeyore bow

In the future I’ll be adding a range of Villains bows. I’ll also be adding some Superheroes too!

So this is what I’ve been up to. How about you? I love working from home but I tell you, its hard to separate being at work and not being at work – switching off your brain and actually getting “me” time seems a thing of the past!

This weekend we went to London for my birthday treat (my birthday isn’t until Thursday). No trip to London would be complete without a visit to the Disney Store and we went to the one I love most – Oxford Street. Did you know there was a Cinderella’s carriage inside there right now? Carriage one side, pumpkin the other. Just like the Cinderella exhibition we went to!

Wednesday Wishlist – Disney Pop Funko

April 8, 2015 by Bel

As the whole of April on my blog is “Disney Month”, today’s wishlist is Disney related – specifically Disney Pop Funko figures.

wpid-20150317061758.jpg

This is my current collection of Pop Funko figures. To be honest I never really considered buying them myself, but when Amy bought Belle and the Beast for Chris and I, it seemed wrong not to! For my birthday last year, a friend called Jon bought me both the large Maleficent and also the mini Maleficent and Evil Queen (I believe he made an error when ordering). After that Amy bought me Lumiere for Christmas and Chris got Judge Doom from her too. The girls also have Anna and Elsa but I don’t class them as part of my collection, since they’re upstairs in their room. Between Chris and I we do also have three other Pop Funko figures, but they aren’t Disney so I skipped them from this post!

funko

So rather than list each of these Pop Funko figures separately, I’ll just say that you can buy majority of them from places like Amazon, Forbidden Planet and Funko Pop Vinyl.

Row A: From left to right, these figures are Cogsworth, Belle and Mrs Potts. As I already have Belle (in her yellow dress), the Beast and Lumiere, I’d love these three figures to complete the set. My favourite is probably the other Belle (in her blue dress) but I would really love them all.

Row B: Next up is Alice, the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter. I was never really into Alice in Wonderland before but over the last few years I’ve developed a love for it (probably because both Lily and Chris like it). Wanting Alice is really because she just represents the Alice in Wonderland world as a whole, but the Cheshire Cat because he looks amazing and the Mad Hatter because he’s simply crazy!

Row C: For this row, it’s all princesses. As I have Belle already, it would be nice to have some of the others. Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White are fairly iconic princesses and would make a great start to my collection. There are a few others available like Merida and Jasmine, but these other three would be my first picks.

Row D: This row is Villains. Everyone who knows me, knows I like Disney Villains. These are just a few of the ones I like – Jafar, Captain Hook and Ursula. I also love King John, Scar and Cruella De Vil. They would all go perfectly with the Maleficent and Evil Queen I already have (and Judge Doom if you count Chris’) though I perhaps need a full size Evil Queen instead.

Row E: Final row is a bit of an assortment really – ones that don’t belong in a set or that I just don’t want the rest of. Tinkerbell, Boo and the Genie are just a few of the ones I’d like. In all honesty I would be happy with any Disney Pop Funko figure but there are plenty I would pick first, even before the others.

Do you have a favourite Disney Pop Funko figure?
